The Russian (Moscow) Clinical Archives remains among the highest points of the netlabels world. Both the number of releases produced so far (their first release dates back to February 2006 and now have come to No. 428) is the quality level of proposals and the dizzying number of downloads it receives each new release (we're talking tens of thousands). Dmyra (Robert Demes II, Santa Barbara, Costa Rica) is the fifth collaboration with Clinical Archives. The previous issues were sailing towards a folk-alternative-rock sung while in this "Starry Cove" (4 tracks entirely instrumental) Dmyra veers semi-classical guitar compositions, intimate and intense. Small hints of percussion, a bass that accompanies so sweet and meditative melodies that Robert is able to create with his guitar. Dmyra seems to sit under the starry sky art-work trying to get his notes with a way of communicating a message of love to the universe. To listen in silent meditation, perhaps outside the walls of your home, while trying to smell the perfume in the world.

The force of the sea

This watercolor, as well as the previous one (Red Sunset), are the jobs that I performed during the Master's lesson Gorlini, on Tuesday 8 March. For a choice of Master teaching in each lesson there are two very different subjects. The lessons have a duration of two and a half hours (from 18.30 to 21.00) and in this limited time, we paint two watercolors and attend demonstrations Gorlini missed. The Master leaves however, a great freedom to its students to decide how to make the paintings: size and type of paper, brushes, colors, etc etc. Indeed, all of us are always welcome to customize the work by exercising our imagination, painting in freedom, trying not to be "conditioned" by the photos of those too.

Put juvenile jargon ... "this stuff breaks."

The Second Family Records netlabel based in Parma, active since the summer of 2008, this album gives us energy pura. L'artista in questione è Onussen (Nazareno Bassi, proveniente da Trieste) qui alla seconda collaborazione con l'etichetta (la prima, " Rectoverso ", risale al 2009). " Dead in Italy " mi colpisce già dal titolo e dall'art-work violento (realizzato da Lorenzo Pierro)...la prima idea che mi viene è di un assassinio ad un invitante piatto di spaghetti, sugo sparso su tovaglia bianca come fossero macchie di sangue di un omicidio di mafia. La violenza si trasferisce anche sulla musica. Prendete un po' di buon drum'n'bass, Prodigy, Aphex Twin e alcuni amici della compagnia Warp di fine millennio e portateli in vacanza con la macchina del tempo a metà anni ottanta all'interno a disco with italy-disk. The jam that would emerge would be like this "Dead in Italy". The opening of "Viva Li Cut" says it all this energy on this album, acid sounds and demonic games panned by dizziness. "Psychologie" is pure frenzy, impressive drumming, varied collection of samples, continuous rhythmic variations, overly dramatic. Onussen knows how to play with his cars so amazing and creative. Low immeasurably deep vibrate the walls of every room. There are also some hints melodic turns in the dark as "No Glory" or the brilliant "Landscape2. I am not aware if Onussen playing some percussion instrument, but care who devotes the development of the rhythmic situations would indicate. As he writes in the Second Family press release for the artist "It's electronic music assembled in solitude, just like a painter or a movie maker should do. Everything is developed from sounds and noises to shape the songs as a natural accordingly. " Listen and listen with the volume very high, could be an excellent cure for gray days and bored.

'Forgotten Outland' is presented as an old record found inside an abandoned farm on land abandoned. Environmental recordings, slight and subtle sounds of acoustic instruments mixed with the usual and unusual. The cover photo is very well the three tracks of "Forgotten Outland." Adoro le composizioni pianistiche di Joram Feitsma già recensito qui nel precedente  "Perdix Themes" Records released by the excellent Mine All Mine, netlabels active since 2006 and based in Madison, Wisconsin. Lots and lots of feelings emerge from the piano sound of the Dutch musician. Just close your eyes and let the notes of his piano color the darkness that appears.

Terza collaborazione con l'etichetta americana dopo la compilation del 2009 " Hey You, Choose Your Own Adventure " e l'album del 2010 " Train Times For Sway .
Multi-Panel continues its path towards folktronica lightweight and comfortable, caressed guitars that rely on simple rhythmic patterns, with slight splashes of electronics and whispering voices.

long wait four months to receive this long-awaited new release from 12rec offer, one of the most popular European netlabels, founded in Germany in 2004 by Sim Sullen & Sven Swift. And you're back in Russia, where the label had left us with his penultimate release, the stunning "In Frame " of Monokle & Galun. The rare garden plants are a duo consisting of 813 (Alexander Goryachev, musician and creator of the label Pop Errors Gallery) and Nienvox (who previously worked with Bump Foot and Dusted Wax Kingdom). The opener it is a self-titled "Side M", where a slide guitar drenched by the rain of early summer storm lulls the solar harmonies midway between the Beatles and Blur. "The sunshine" outlines in detail the overall sound of the album: funk and soft steam that settles on medium speed of metronome and rubbery bass lines carrying the head in a graceful pendant. In "Sea Song" you can even smell the aroma coming from Eastern Europe. A serene and peaceful walk along the shores of the Caspian Sea. With "Zuko People" (which takes me back to the "Voices in my head" of the Police never forgotten) the pace gets up and asks me politely to move his legs. The melody is slightly drunk "Supadj, accompanied da un godibile ritmo funk-sincopato e da una chitarra con la foto di Santana legata al manico con un cordino mi rimane incollata alla mente per lungo tempo. Martin & Wood potrebbero aver suonato tranquillamente la ritmica di "Reflections", brano che conclude questo album veramente piacevole, semplice ma mai banale, che sa catturare accenni dalla musica degli ultimi due decenni mantenendo intatta una propria candida personalità.

Late February was a period full of interesting new releases by some very good netlabels Europe. It 's the case of the Swedish 23 Seconds, which never betrays the expectations about the quality of its proposals. In this new release presents the band Indonesian Flyafter , who has already collaborated with the label of Gothenburg in June 2010 proposing " Flyafter EP. The trio of Jakarta was born in 2004 and composed by Hannan Jaya Mahardika, Fahrezzy Rully, Rully Luandri, offers a pleasant blend of techno-pop flavors eightes with several references to some band of northern Europe and Germany in the years 90/00. Above all, certain melodies of heading back to the decade of the Cold War but also the carelessness of the proposals and all'orecchiabilità musical offerings. A-ha on holiday in the Indian Ocean. Drum machine, sequencer, pompous reverb and a guitar that offers warmth and humanity to the final product. "The wanderstar" conspicuous its electric vivacity and celestial melody hard to forget ... creating good pop. Rhythmic electronic tribal aggressive dishes flanger, acoustic guitars severe until the surprising arrival in mid-song by a distorted electronic sound that immediately changes everything, feet and head suddenly began to move in a hypnotic dance and esoteric, as you slowly return all the tools in a nice orgy of sounds final. Excellent work.

[aaahh011] Nicolas Falcon – "Nicolas Falcon"

Almost three months after the last release, the excellent "House Plants " of Pinkle, comes the excellent German netlabel aaahh records . The new release is signed by the musician ; Falcon Nicolas, born in Houston, the son of Cuban immigrants, grew up in Miami and Philadelphia and now living in Milan. In this self-titled release Nicolas presents nine excellent songs that affected much of the influence of the Beatles and a lot of music of the years 60/70. Especially in some vocal timbres and certain melodies (Cyanide Surprise) Paul McCartney presents a lively link brain. Songs that are sheltered from the cold, soft and warm blankets for the last days of winter. Simple structures and melodies that run on a fine wire melancholy ("I promise," "Reality to me," What I Know About You "), text sometimes romantic and sometimes smooth and enjoyable. The tools are reduced to essentials, guitar and voice always on top, the effective power is very lo-fi appears sporadically (his formidable presence on the recording in the bedroom in "Tall Oak Tree" and "A Thousand Times) . An album to listen to the crackling of wood in the fireplace, in a small mountain hut, in the company of his love, looking for reflections of the rhythmic fire in the eyes of others. Or, alternatively, and a bit ' less romantically, while you're ironing a pile of crumpled clothes. The warmth and welcoming atmosphere that can transmit are effective in both situations.

Cagey House (Dave Keifer), is one of the most unique artists of the contemporary music scene.
prolific, eccentric, original, Dave began composing music since 1999, playing various instruments (harmonica, drums, piano, guitar) to discovery of the computer and its potential. In the first decade of the 2000 Cagey House has produced many albums (I could not find a complete discography and reliable, but I think this should be about the fifteenth) relying on various netlabels world (he worked with Nishi, Foot Boom , Dog Eared Records etc.) The new "Calico Sunshine Pastry" Dave works with ByPass , netlabel China (Beijing), founded in 2008 by ZhangJW. As a specific in-depth interview with Dave found on The muse in music, his method of composing is unconsciously disordered ("the quickest way to produce mediocre music is to proceed in an orderly manner, "says Dave nicely). A huge sample library deliberately disorganized and a large number of virtual instruments. The result is music that can come close to the dynamics of a cartoon by Hanna-Barbera, or at other times at the various steps of the level of a videogame. Hundreds of items that follow riding countless moods and situations, creating music that is not quite a mess but an avalanche of sound ideas, fertile creativity, bold and daring. If we begin to look for is anything ... how to fish at random in a box full of figurines of musicians and genres of the last century. Zappa, Zorn, The Beatles, Joe Jackson, contemporary classical music, fusion 80/90 years, the list could go on for pages. Surrender to the music by Cagey House is a great experience. Boredom is hidden in some other galaxy, certainly not here.
