'Forgotten Outland' is presented as an old record found inside an abandoned farm on land abandoned. Environmental recordings, slight and subtle sounds of acoustic instruments mixed with the usual and unusual. The cover photo is very well the three tracks of "Forgotten Outland." Adoro le composizioni pianistiche di Joram Feitsma già recensito qui nel precedente  "Perdix Themes" Records released by the excellent Mine All Mine, netlabels active since 2006 and based in Madison, Wisconsin. Lots and lots of feelings emerge from the piano sound of the Dutch musician. Just close your eyes and let the notes of his piano color the darkness that appears.

Terza collaborazione con l'etichetta americana dopo la compilation del 2009 " Hey You, Choose Your Own Adventure " e l'album del 2010 " Train Times For Sway .
Multi-Panel continues its path towards folktronica lightweight and comfortable, caressed guitars that rely on simple rhythmic patterns, with slight splashes of electronics and whispering voices.

long wait four months to receive this long-awaited new release from 12rec offer, one of the most popular European netlabels, founded in Germany in 2004 by Sim Sullen & Sven Swift. And you're back in Russia, where the label had left us with his penultimate release, the stunning "In Frame " of Monokle & Galun. The rare garden plants are a duo consisting of 813 (Alexander Goryachev, musician and creator of the label Pop Errors Gallery) and Nienvox (who previously worked with Bump Foot and Dusted Wax Kingdom). The opener it is a self-titled "Side M", where a slide guitar drenched by the rain of early summer storm lulls the solar harmonies midway between the Beatles and Blur. "The sunshine" outlines in detail the overall sound of the album: funk and soft steam that settles on medium speed of metronome and rubbery bass lines carrying the head in a graceful pendant. In "Sea Song" you can even smell the aroma coming from Eastern Europe. A serene and peaceful walk along the shores of the Caspian Sea. With "Zuko People" (which takes me back to the "Voices in my head" of the Police never forgotten) the pace gets up and asks me politely to move his legs. The melody is slightly drunk "Supadj, accompanied da un godibile ritmo funk-sincopato e da una chitarra con la foto di Santana legata al manico con un cordino mi rimane incollata alla mente per lungo tempo. Martin & Wood potrebbero aver suonato tranquillamente la ritmica di "Reflections", brano che conclude questo album veramente piacevole, semplice ma mai banale, che sa catturare accenni dalla musica degli ultimi due decenni mantenendo intatta una propria candida personalità.

Late February was a period full of interesting new releases by some very good netlabels Europe. It 's the case of the Swedish 23 Seconds, which never betrays the expectations about the quality of its proposals. In this new release presents the band Indonesian Flyafter , who has already collaborated with the label of Gothenburg in June 2010 proposing " Flyafter EP. The trio of Jakarta was born in 2004 and composed by Hannan Jaya Mahardika, Fahrezzy Rully, Rully Luandri, offers a pleasant blend of techno-pop flavors eightes with several references to some band of northern Europe and Germany in the years 90/00. Above all, certain melodies of heading back to the decade of the Cold War but also the carelessness of the proposals and all'orecchiabilità musical offerings. A-ha on holiday in the Indian Ocean. Drum machine, sequencer, pompous reverb and a guitar that offers warmth and humanity to the final product. "The wanderstar" conspicuous its electric vivacity and celestial melody hard to forget ... creating good pop. "Today I'm With You" (already included in the previous EP) is present here in a new, more open and warm, with a rhythmic march like an old train with passengers of the Far West disguised as Talking Heads, Wall of Woodoo. Swinging on the wistful "Back to Children" leads to "I'm not toys", a small masterpiece of PE. Rhythmic electronic tribal aggressive dishes flanger, acoustic guitars severe until the surprising arrival in mid-song by a distorted electronic sound that immediately changes everything, feet and head suddenly began to move in a hypnotic dance and esoteric, as you slowly return all the tools in a nice orgy of sounds final. Excellent work.
