The Second Family Records netlabel based in Parma, active since the summer of 2008, this album gives us energy pura. L'artista in questione è Onussen (Nazareno Bassi, proveniente da Trieste) qui alla seconda collaborazione con l'etichetta (la prima, " Rectoverso ", risale al 2009). " Dead in Italy " mi colpisce già dal titolo e dall'art-work violento (realizzato da Lorenzo Pierro)...la prima idea che mi viene è di un assassinio ad un invitante piatto di spaghetti, sugo sparso su tovaglia bianca come fossero macchie di sangue di un omicidio di mafia. La violenza si trasferisce anche sulla musica. Prendete un po' di buon drum'n'bass, Prodigy, Aphex Twin e alcuni amici della compagnia Warp di fine millennio e portateli in vacanza con la macchina del tempo a metà anni ottanta all'interno a disco with italy-disk.
